Always with respect, always at your pace. We can help with daily routines, including getting out of bed, personal care and dressing.
From running errands to preparing meals, our daily living support lets you and your loved ones focus on what matters most.
Tailored to your family’s wants and needs, our companionships offer a friendly face, a listening ear, and valuable respite for families.
Our care is based entirely on your family’s needs, so if you need an extra layer of support, overnight care can help.
Care is a relationship, not a transaction. Every visit is a chance to listen, notice, and bring comfort. As part of Southern Hospice Group, every penny of our profit helps fund local hospice care, so we can support not only you, but someone else’s family too.
We don't rush our visits – every moment is used to support you.
Paying attention to the details isn't extra, it's what compassionate care relies on.
Care can feel heavy, but you don’t need to do it alone – we're here to help.
All our care is intentional, with comfort and dignity at its heart.
Our relationship begins the moment you get in touch. From your very first enquiry, we focus on making the process simple and straightforward, shaping our support around your family’s needs right from the start.
Get in touch using our contact form, email or phone. Choose whatever feels easiest for you.
A member of our team will get back to you to understand what support you or your loved one needs. We’ll listen, answer questions and start building a plan together, fully tailored around you. At this stage, we’ll also provide a clear quote for the cost of your care.
We’ll work together to define the practical details – from visit times to how you enjoy your favourite sandwich.
When you’re ready to move forward, we’ll help you complete your care contract. We’ll then agree on a start date for your personalised care plan to begin.
We’ll always let you know who your carer, or team of carers, will be and when they’ll visit. All you need to do is relax and wait for the punctual knock at your front door.
We’ll stay in touch and continue reviewing your care as your needs change. Our aim is to ensure you feel truly supported and to make each day brighter, one visit at a time.
We believe in clear and honest pricing, so you’ll find our hourly rates below. Although every care plan is personalised to the individual, everyone we support pays the same hourly rate, giving you value and fairness from the start.
This transparent breakdown shows exactly how your care costs are calculated, and if you’d like to talk through your options or create a plan that suits your needs, get in touch.

*If you require two carers the cost will be doubled.
I joined Nestwell Care in 2017 (then Martlets Care) after 29 years as a primary school teacher. I am now a senior care professional. My duties vary and may include providing personal care, shopping, preparing meals, assisting with medication and exercises and providing companionship.
Although I work independently, I am always part of a wider team with my fellow care professionals, Martlets palliative care team and the clients and their families.
As a Nestwell Care professional, I feel valued and appreciated within the community. I know that the job I do makes a difference to peoples well being and the quality of both theirs and their families lives – and that does me good too!
I’m a proud Nestwell Home Care (formerly Martlets Care) carer, the best part of my role is the satisfaction of helping people, and giving something back as they looked after my beloved brother in the past.
We all give 100% to our clients – they are given person centred care as we believe everyone is their own person and not just a number or a name. I love the empathy from the Nestwell Home Care team, including the resources provided to both carers and clients.
I’ve only been in the care industry for 18 months, after deciding I wanted a career change. To say I love my job with Nestwell Home Care (formerly Martlets Care) is an understatement, the people I meet and the gratitude they show make it so worth while. The job entails so many different things from making people comfortable in the palliative side to giving people more independence by helping them do their weekly food shop. Each client has different needs and different care plans, which makes my job variable every day.
I have always worked in Recruitment, but after leaving that to look after my children, and then looking after my Nan for a few years, I realised caring for others was something I could do.
Working for Nestwell Home Care (formerly Martlets Care) is very rewarding, knowing that I make a difference to someone’s day however small, is heartwarming.
-Nestwell have a great team of people in all areas, they all have the same ethos for person centred care. We are well supported, and all take care of each other, as well as our clients. Also, knowing that all profits are going back into the Hospice is a huge bonus too.
As a Nestwell Home Care Professional (formerly Martlets Care), I head home each day feeling tired. But, with a strong sense of satisfaction that my work has made a difference. How many jobs give you that feeling?
We provide at-home care services in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas. From Shoreham to Saltdean and as far north as Patcham, our local knowledge means we understand your community and can connect you with nearby resources and support.
If you’re outside of these areas, please still get in touch – we’ll be expanding our catchment soon!
Every conversation starts with listening. Tell us what you need, and we’ll explain how we can help. You can reach us by phone, email, or by completing the form below.
