FAQs

These FAQs cover the things people ask most often, from training and pay, to shift patterns and support.

Yes. We ask all full time staff to work one weekend every other week. Morning shifts run from 8am to 4pm, and evening shifts run from 2pm to 10pm. We take your availability into account and build your round from there.

Our care is fully tailored to each client, but you can expect to support people with anything from personal care to companionship.

No. Many of our carers have joined us from completely different careers. We provide full training, including a three-day induction, to help you feel confident in your role.

Yes. We’ll support you to study while you work, including gaining your Care Certificate or diplomas in health and social care if you choose to.

Yes, and ideally you’ll have access to your own car.

Yes. All carers require an up-to-date DBS, and we pay for this when you join us.

Our pay aligns with the Real Living Wage Foundation and starts at £12.60 per hour, with generous enhancements for evening and weekend work.

Yes. You’re paid for the time you spend travelling, and we reimburse mileage at 45p per mile.

No. We only employ people that already have a right to work in the UK.
